  1. A Story
    Once upon a time there was a man and he was coming home from town and he had a very long journey to go. It was late in the night and a woman dressed in a white garment appeared before him.
    He was in dread but he never pretended and he asked himself what would he do. He searched as far as the woman and asked her to take a lift in the car, and she said she would. She came in and they were talking away and the horse began to go very slowly. The man beat the horse and the woman told him to stop beating the horse.
    The man said he was a bad horse when he liked. The woman said he was a very strong horse and the man asked her how she knew. "Well", said the woman "he is when he is able to carry me" "How is that?" said the man. The woman said she was very heavy. She also said that when she was a little girl she struck her mother and her hand became heavy as half
