  1. My grandmother had a churn at her home. It was shaped like a tank and was two and a half feet in height.
    The lead had several small holes and one larger hole through which the dash was worked up and down. The dash is a stick going down throught the top of the churn. On the end is a piece of board on which are four holes. The one which is making the butter must keep pushing the stick down and
