    to cure the whooping cough.
    Olive oil and lime water was used for curing burns.
    Cobwebs were used to stop the flow of blood from a cut.
    It is said that if you walked through an opening in a rock it would cure pains in your bones. If you walked through a cleft in a tree it would cure you of a pain in the head. It was a cure for pains in the teeth to crawl through a window.
    The old people used to poultice a bile with linseed meal.
    It was a cure for bruises to poultice them with yellow meal.
    If one had tooth-ache he would kill a frog and rub his leg to the tooth.
    If one had diphtheria they would cure it with raw potatoes.
    Another disease is flu. They cure it with the sup off the pig's tail.
