Once there were two men who planned to live in a haunted house.

    (continued from previous page)
He informed the guards about the strange visitants and about the man who was to stay with him and did not. The guard therefore arrested the man who refused to turn up at nine p.m. according to arrangement.
This man promised to stay by himself if they let him go. Afterwards the guard set him free.
Then the man proceeded to the house that night and about one oclock a man came in and started to look up at the door.
    The watcher came nearer.
"In the name of God" he cried "what do you want?"
"I would have killed you, only you said this," was the reply.
Then he continued - "I want the knife that killed my brother."
The man got the ghost the knife over the door and gave it to him and the ghost disappeared.
From that day forward the house was untroubled by ghosts.
