  1. There lived a priest in Cloncoose about 90 years ago. One night he was robbed of all his means and the chalice was taken from him and thrown into and old dirty. The priest was tied up and gagged and left lying in a field.
    The family that done this were a protestant family who lived in Druminchgore.
    A young protestant man Joe Arnold who lived in Drumbrick found the chalice, in the stream in Drumbrick and although he was protestant he knew it was not right to touch the chalice so he put a silk handkerchief round it and hid it until the priest was freed. Then he gave it to the priest.
    The other family who robbed the priest always had bad luck. The man who found
