The dog pursued the hare and chased her for almost a mile.
The man followed on and found the dog by his yelping with his two front paws on the window sill in the townland of Corrascroffey and the hares scut on the window sill.
They knocked at the door for admition but the door would not be opened. They broke in the door and found the woman of the house sitting in the corner and a pool of blood beneath her.(continues on next page)
