    4. If chickens come out or white Monday there should be a green sod put over them for fear they would die.
    5. When the chicken are about a day old there is something on their nib which is called the hungry bit and the people pull it off because they say they wouldn't eat as much as where it would be on.
    6. If you lost anything you should hang a whisp on the crook until you get it.
    7. If you let a spoon fall it is the sign of company coming to the house.
    8. If a turf falls out of the fire it is the sign of company coming to the house and if you spit on it they will come quick.
