    the church.
When the time arrived for the parson to preach, he was unable to do so as he had a sore throat and was very hoarse.
He could not speak loud enough for the congregation to hear him. He had a boy who resembled himself. He dressed him like himself. They both went up on the pulpit and the parson sat behind the boy and said in a low tone "Moses was an illustrious man". The boy shouted "Moses was an industrious man". The parson said "He made atonement for the sins of his people. The boy shouted. "He made ointment for the shins of his people. The parson said "Bad luck to you, you spoiled it all, and the boy said "well bad luck to him he spilled it all."
