    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    In the year 1922 the bridges of Drumsna and Jamestown were blown up. It happened early in the morning on the first of July and the stones flew in every direction. It made big holes in the roofs of the houses and broke many of the windows, it knocked chimneys down. There was twice as much done to Jamestown. It knocked the tops off the houses.
    The men that blew it up were from around the locality and some of them were put to jail and the others went out of the country altogether.
