  1. There is a big stone in the village of Ballyskea and it is said that a giant flung it to cover a pot of gold that was buried in the ground, but it slipped when the giant flung it. You could see the track of his boot and his shoulder in it. Some people say that if it was stirred he would get alive again. Others say that he flung it to knock the castle in Monivea. Some people would be afraid to pass it at night.
