    Long ago there was an old tree around Monivea...

    Long ago there was an old tree around Monivea and it was called crann na Seoige/Sideoge because it is said that the fairies used to be living around it and it is said that they used to sing a song every night a man came one night and he was going to cut the tree when a fairy came behind him and knocked off his head.
