    Tugtar neantóga do franncaigh agus do laca óga. Tugtar bráisge do na lacha. Na rudaí a bhfuil maitheas orra do na muca -
    focanán, slóctán, glórán, ta rud san glórán cosamhail lé bainne agus tá nimh ann. Cuirfeadh sé mealla ar lámha duine. Blisgán, farabán. Tugtar cúirleán do na muca. Tá siad cosamhail lé cnó agus fásann síad síos san gcré. Ditheadh na daoine é am an Gorta Mhóir. Fásann na luibheanna sin go mór ins an áit a mbíonn fataí.
