    It is said if the Robin sits on the top branch in the morning its the sign of a good day.
    If the birds fly high for the North there will be dry weather.
    If the sun is in a ball of fire when it is setting it is the sign of frost and good weather.
    If there is a white mist in the valleys its the sign of good weather.
    Signs of rain
    When the wind comes over Lough Allen its a sign of rain.
    If the Donkey runs wildly through the field its the sign of rain.
    The greatest sign of rain is when the mountains around us seem near.
    The greatest sign of snow is when the wind flows from the North.
