- (continued from previous page)with straw after which the aged one or pair were carried or brought to be sweated. They had to crawl in on their hands and feet like a cat. The sweat ran out of them like rain. They remained in that state as long as they were able to stick it. After a while they were wrapped up in flannels, and taken home and left in bed to cool down gradually. They generally went in pairs, a man and his wife, or two females or two males, but never male and female except man and wife. There is one of these little houses in Baggaun still.

Goose seam or fat rubbed on chest very good for a hoarseness. This seam not to be salted.
