    When the old people long ago used to meet one another they used to say
    God be with you.
    God direct you.
    God save you.
    God bless you and spare you the health
    When any person would die the old people say
    Lord have mercy on her or his soul.
    When the old people go to bed they used to say
    I must die I do not know when, nor where nor how but if I die in mortal sin I am lost forever.
    O Jesus have mercy on me. AMEN.
