    There was once a an and he was very holy.

    There was once a man and he was so very holy that he did not want to live among the people. So he went away and he built a hut for himself so he could live in peace. The devil was always trying to tempt him. He sent every one of his angels trying to tempt but they could not. They used to come back to him crying saying they could do nothing. He himself went and asked for a lodging. He said he would not give it to him. He went outside and he started playing music thinking he could tempt him. He came the next night and he asked for a lodging but he would not give it to him. He then went and he started crying. The man took pity on him and he told him to come in and so he did. God sent an angel from heaven but he would not listen to him. "If you do not obey me said the angel to morrow thou shall die of thirst. Now said the man I know
