  1. Clothes made locally.
    There is one tailor in the district. he works in his own house and does not stock material. There is no cloth spun or woven locally.
    Stockings and socks are knitted locally. There is at least a few spinning wheels in the district and the owners of these wheels card and spin their own thread.
    When a person is dead his or her relations usually dress in black for at least twelve months.
