In the time of the Land League there lived in Kiltulla a man by the name of Martin O'Halloran.

    (continued from previous page)
followed from Kiltulla by four car loads of police. They drove into the village and Martin O'Halloran got off his car leaving his two sons in charge of his horse. He went into the first house in the village for a drink and he went out the back door and fled across the fields until he reached the Doireen. There he held his meeting while the police were still outside the first house in the village. When his sons thought the meeting was over they drove to the Doireen to take home their father and the four cars of police followed them.
