    When the other man would hear the shot, he as to take the crock of gold because the cat would be asleep. If he woke up before the gold was taken he would kill the man. The man went to the graveyard and he got the crock of gold, and just as he was going out the gate the cat followed him. He shut the gate and the cat could not get out. After a few days he came to the graveyard again and the cat was dead.
