  1. 1. In upper Ballygown there was a soldier's coat and a arrel of a gun found about ten years ago. The foresters were making drains and they found it. There was a row of buttons down along it.

    3. There were bones and bits of coffins found at the end of John Kelly's field.
    The people were buired there in the time of the famine.
