  1. 1. There is a lot of potatoes grown on our farm. We sow about an acre of potatoes every year.
    2. The servant boy prepares the ground. The potatoes are sown in drills. A plough we use when sowing potatoes.
    3. There are no spades made around here. It is in the shops they get them all. During spring the farmer moulds and scuffles them.
    4. The people are very good around here for helping one another. The way they help them is when one man wants too horses the other people gives him a horse, and any time they want a horse then he gives them a horse.
