  1. About a mile from our house in the village of Cloonaugh there is a holy stone where St Patrick knelt and the track of his too knees and a place for holy water are on this stone. It is said as he passing through this field He saw the stone and he went to it and knelt down on it to pray and ever since the track of his knees are there.
    Everyone who heard about this stone came to see it because it is the most remarkable thing around this district. Years ago the people tried to bring this stone but they could not lift it.
