    flattened out and cut into shapes. Bocksi was cooked on a griddle or pan. It is very dark in colour when cooked.
    When digging the potatoes in Autumn the midday meal cooked in the open air was roasted potatoes. A hole was made in the ditch and a fire lit in the hole. The newly-dug potatoes were placed in this hole and roasted.
