  1. The "Bean Shee" was heard one night around the bridge separating Adrigoole from Killooney. She was crying all night and when we went to bed she stopped.
    Another night she was heard opposite Hannons when Michael died. She was heard another night beside Jim Fallons. There is a flag near the river beside Jim Fallons house and she was heard washing on the flag and crying at the same time. Often long ago the women of the district washed their clothes on that flag.
