  1. There are a number of holy wells in the district of Dunmore all called St Patricks wells. There is one in Cappagh and the patron day is the last Sunday of July. There is another holy well in Curragh. The patron day is the 25th of August. There is a little bush there and everyone who goes there hangs ribbons or trinkets on it in honour of St Patrick.
