    Cures for a burn
    1) A leaf of ivy that grows on a hawthorn bush
    2) The juice of a weed called the Cruac Pádraig is good for a burn
    3) Carron oil
    4) A lump of butter
    5) To scoop a piece of a raw potato and serape a piece of fat bacon and mix them
    6) Olive oil
    7) Rub breadsoda to it and with it often paraffin oil and it will prevent it from blistering
    Cures for Nose Bleeds
    1) To put a cold stone at the back of ones neck
    2) To put paraffin oil on a cloth and put it to nose and to lie on the broad of the back
