    buried in a field in which were plenty stones. Everybody that went to his funeral placed a stone on his grave. The heap of stones is to be seen to the present day. There is something peculiar about the saint's grave.
    One day a little boy was herding cows in the field where the "Cairn" is. John got up on the "Cairn" and cried at the top of his voice three times.
    "Jack go on to the cows". He was immediately possessed by a terrible pain in his stomach. On reaching his home he went to bed and remained there for four days.
    Anybody that stands on the "Carin" will be sick for four days.
    Told to her by her grandmother who was 93 years at her death over 20 years ago.
