    January 1938
    The following are the old country cures:-
    "Wild Fire" is a form of very sore eyes with a very sore rash all around the eye. It is cured with fresh cream, milked from the cow in the month of May, when the cows get the benefit of all Spring herbs.
    "Ring Worm" is cures by placing a wedding ring on the mark three times.
    The following are the three cures for "Whooping on Chin Cough". Get some white bread: boil it in new milk; give it to an ass to drink and give what is left to the child with the cough. Another cure is: you must
