   In accordance with Mr Higgins' expressed wishes, a large tabular tomb was erected over his remains in 1804. Many years ago unknown persons visited his tomb, and smashed of the words, "Sacred to the memory of Francis Higgins".

   During the Penal days in Ireland, when our Priests were hunted and put to death for attening to the needs of their people, in a street near the Dublin Quays which is one of our busiest parts in the city there was a little Tavern called Adam and Eves. This tavern was owned by a very good old family and in happier times was the meeting of many Old Catholic Societies. In a room of this Tavern
