    other things, at his work. Shirts are sometimes made in the homes. There are no accounts of flax grown locally.
    Socks and stockings are sometimes knitted locally. The thread is sometimes spun in the homes. I do not know how many spinning-wheels are in the district.
    At special times there are special types of clothes worn, such as the death of a relative. The people of the house wear black clothes. On St. Patrick’s Day people wear green clothes if they have them. They don’t wear any special clothes at a marriage.
