    1) The cat sitting with her back to the fire is a sign of a storm.
    2) The dog eating grass is a sure sign of rain.
    3) When the stork leaves the shore and goes up on the land you may be sure there is a storm coming.
    4) A blue blaze in the fire is a sign of rain.
    5) A ring round the moon is a sign of stormy weather.
    6) When the stars twinkle at night it is a sign of frost.
    7) When the sea turns green it is a sign of a storm.
    8) Streaks in the sky is a sign of a storm.
    9) Stars glittering very bright is a sign of frost.
