  1. There are two holy wells in the parish a head well and an eye well.
    They are in the town land of Iskakeen, Muff, Co Donegal.
    The head well is in Miss Mary McColgan's field, and the eye-well is in a glen in her farm. The people still visit them at any time. Prayers are said there. The well that is in Miss Mary McColgan's field was blessed by Father McLaughlin who was priest in Iskakeen parish 90 years ago. There was a very hot summer and all the wells were dried up but this one, and Father McLaughlin blessed
