  1. There is a house in the district of Killyclug in which fairies are supposed to be seen. Many years ago people named Patcher lived in this house. On one occasion fairies appeared to David Patcher.
    The fairies asked David Patcher to change the byre as their fire was put out every morning by the water which dripped from the byre. Patcher did not change the byre as he did not believe in fairies.
    Some time after great poverty fell on the Patchers. Their cattle died and their crops failed. Again the fairy appeared and again told him
