to an hour to churn. In winter, hot water is used in the churn and in summer cold water is used. When it is taken from the churn, it is put into wooden tubs called “butts” and salted. Then it is made into rolls and sold in market. It is said that butter can be taken from the churn by witch-craft. The butter milk is used for making porridge and is also used for drinking at a dinner of potatoes and salt.
