    Come down and we’ll visit,
    Some boys who live near.
    They’ve a pond in their garden,
    With boats, and a pier.

    We’ll help them to sail,
    Their boats, then we’ll go.
    To visit a poney [sic],
    You’ll like him, I know.

    Oh! May we ride home,
    On the poney, what fun!
