    ruins to be seen. Some emigrated from here to America in former times but not many now. This townland is not mentioned in any song or story.
    The land is very hilly and boggy and is bordered by woods are not very big and they are called Minanantan and Duff’s wood. There is one lough in Cashel-Ard called Lough Colmcille and there are a number of stories about it.
