    Patience is a virtue,
    Have it if you can,
    Seldom in a woman
    But never in a man.
    Christmas is coming,
    The geese are getting fat.
    Please put a penny in the old man's hat.
    If you have not a penny
    A half penny will do,
    If you have not ha half penny
    God bless you.
    Cry baby cry
    stick your finger
    in your eye
    Go home and tell your mammie
    T'was I, I, I.
