    The idea of this is that any other purchasers passing by will make no offers, for they will know that the beasts are sold.
    Halters are not generally used except when selling bulls or rams and the halter is left go with the animals sold.
    The best fairs are in Spring. especially in April, for the ranchers are then buying the cattle to stock their grasslands.
    Special fairs for the sale of houses are held four times in the year in all the towns.
