    We often have a wedding in our village but children under sixteen are not allowed to go to it. They always have a barrel of stout at the wedding and all kinds of fruit. People should always wear something new and something old, something borrowed, and something blue. Long ago people say that the man used to have to buy the wife for money but they never do that now. Tom Jordan said that his father before him had to buy his wife before him, he to give three good bullocks
