    Then we started pulling heather until we had nearly a cart-load pulled. the we put half the heather into the den and lit it with a mach. When the heather was half lighted out came one of the badgers and half of the hair burned off him.
    The two dogs went for the badger and killed him. Then we put all the heather into the den and lit it with another mach. When all the heather was lit we could dot see the other badger. So we pulled out the
