    Rock.
    There is a small hole at the butt of the rock. It was once very big and there was a large, dark cave inside. There are three iron gates in the cave and serpents are guarding the gates. If anyone could pass inside the third gate he would get the money.
    Long ago when the English soldiers were in Ireland some of them heard of the gold in Burren rock and they resolved to find the money. They brought some candels with them and when they entered the dark cave they lighted them.
