   When they were gone the man put his hand in his pocket and he found a bit of palm in it .

   ii One time there was a man dying and he wanted the priest but his wife would not let anyone bring the priest to him because she was a protestant. A fortnight or so after this the man died. The night of the wake there was a large crowd in the house. About the middle of the night the dead man sat up in the bed and looked out and said, "after me dying I went down the hall and all the devils
