    rocks with his foot and breaking them into paving stones. Anyone would stand to look at him, and Conn stood and looked at him. The little red man told him this was the man of the Iron foot and that it was better to engage him too. Conn did so for he was now as bad as he could be. I think we have all our company said the little red man. So leading them into a wood, he told them they should now get ready the flying ship. He got he others to cut down branches and rods for him, and he wound them together in a wonderful way, until he had a beautiful little boat made with seats for seven people. Then he got a long fine hazel rod, and peeled off the skin till it was nice and white, he then put some magic in it. He told the others to take their seats, and when they were all seated, and a querr looking company they were, the little red man got in, and sat at the prow of the ship. Then he struck the prow with the magic rod, and the ship rose slowly from the ground up above the trees, up above the hills, up almost to the clouds. Now they passed, over many seas and deserts, and wild places, but their adventures are not told until they came to
