Bobby Chuileóg was a small woman. She wore a shawl on her head. She wore no shoe in winter or Summer. Her feet were swollen. She was going around begging from house to house. She used to say "It was not right an ass to bray." The people gave her lodgings. She used be thankful to them.

There was a beggar woman named Biddy Duffy and she used lodge in certain houses. She died in one of the houses she was lodged in. [told by Ml. Kearney, Carrowmeda, Ballycastle Mayo] - Informant
