    Long ago the old people used only eat three meals a day. They used eat to call them the breakfast the dinner and the supper. They used to have no only a basket left over a pot and the pot left on the floor. For their breakfast they used to have a pot of potatoes and herrings. For the dinner they used to have a pot of stirabout and buttermilk. They used to have a cabbage cut up in small pieces, and oaten meal boiled on it for the supper.
