    Those that had to go to Ballina with their asses and carts were afraid to go, because there were big trees thrown across the road in many places.
    It is said that a man from this village was bringing a creel of potatoes in to the house. As he was going across a fence a great breeze of wind came and blew the creel off his back.
    Old Schools
    There was an a old school in Bofield. Another school was over in Currower.
    Mull lain had ananda had another old school.
