    the people of Glenree were much given to sheep rearing on the mountain sides The men sheared the sheep in summer and the women carded and spun the wool in winter.
    Weavers who were plentiful then wove the wool into yarn.
    The town of Sligo was a great wool market then and the yarn was sold there.
    Rory Dubh was very clever at disguise and at a lonely spot called Bearna na Gaoithe, he often robbed the wool sellers on their way home.
    One of his victims, called Donohue, swore he would have revenge on Rory.
    One moonlight night he hid himself near Rory's cave, intending to shoot him.
    Soon the outlaw appeared and Donohue shot him dead, as he thought
