  1. In the townland of Cnoc Ruadh about two miles from our school there is a well named after St Feichin.
People go on pilgrimages to the well between the eight of September and the fifteenth of August. The walk round the well, some go on their knees round it and everytime they go round it they throw in a stone.
They have to go round fifteen times and the stones are used to count the rounds.
One Our Father, three Hail Mary's and one Gloria are the prayers said during each round.
The people do a .... to the well when their cattle are sick.
