    a big lake. Another river flows out of this lake and it runs by the mill and into another lake. There are five lakes in it, Derrican Lake, Cullintra Lake, Eaton's Lake, Lyons's Lake and Healys Lake.
    It is situated in the village parish of Bekan. There was a Saint living in Bekan long ago named St. Beacan and it is said that he is buried near the cemetery and that is how Bekan got its name.
    The most important lake in the parish is Bekan lake. The River Robe rises in it and flows into Lough
