  1. There is a blessed well near the Mannon lake. It is called St. Patricks well. Every year on the last Sunday in July people go to the Blessed well. They bring a bottle of water home with them.
    The track where St. Patrick knelt is to be seen plainly on the stones that are round the well. And the track of his fingers also. The people take small stones up out the well and they bring them home with them. People come from two parishes. Knock and Aughamore to the blessed
